Good duty free shops do have electronic humidors which keep the cigars in good conditon. I bought most of my cigars from Charles De Gualle (Paris) airport. They are a lot cheaper than Heathrow' s (London).
I do think smoking a cigar ruins the taste of a good red wine. Spirits, on the other hand, compliments cigar well. A strong cup of tea (black) or coffee also works well, though the time it takes to finish a cigar usually renders the tea/coffee cold--so you need 1-2 cups at least. |
