In the past arms Licensee could only keep the following firearms in their house lockable gun safe:
1) .22LR rifle, which included semi-auto or bolt action
2) shotgun, semi-auto or pump action
3) full bore rifle with the bolt removed, bolt have to be keep in authorized armoury
As the gun safe at any licensee house is supposed to be use for STORAGE the firearms purpose, Arms Licence Office think it is no point to let new application approved, that is their home, their own residence, NOT a shooting range, so it is uncessary to let people to keep the arms at home. |
