W8半年銷量破億 將推升級版

微軟（Microsoft）Windows 8（W8）推出半年以來一直廣受批評，惟微軟稱這套破格的作業系統，至今授權數量已突破1億套，拍得住當年Windows 7（W7）及Vista的開售銷情。
不過，微軟確認本年稍後時間將推出內部暫稱Windows Blue的升級版W8，當中或會重現Windows的固有核心元素，似是間接承認現有W8失敗，未獲市場歡心。
微軟指W8首半年授權銷售趨勢，與W7三年前推出時相似，同已達到1億套授權數量。外界卻質疑授權數量不等於使用量；IDC分析師Bob O'Donnell直指，1億授權數量究竟等於多少人在用W8，又指不明白授權數量意思，他與電腦界人士會談時亦未曾聽聞授權數量。
網站調查 同期市佔率低於W7
科技新聞網站ZDNet指，微軟授權數量的買家為電腦製造商等，但電腦製造商確實售出多少以W8運行的電腦，或零售商出售了多少套W8軟件，則不得而知。
市佔率調查網站Netmarketshare.com資料顯示，W8上月佔整體Windows個人電腦（PC）用戶僅3.84%，遠低於過往同期W7及Vista的市佔率，可見授權數量未能如實反映市佔率及使用率。
W8推出以來劣評如潮，主因消費者對沒有「開始」（start）鍵及傳統介面的W8倍感陌生及混淆。微軟Windows部門財務和營銷主管雷勒（Tami Reller）坦言，W8並非完美，需要改進。

試過下W8，如果部laptop or 個 Monitor 冇touch screen function 就真係把鬼，就算有都唔覺得好用，相對拖慢部機個performance .  對舊一代window user 又要從新學過，不如用返window 7。咁邊有咁多人去用w8呀?

W8 has its own target user segments so it does not fit laptop/desktop environment by design. laptop/desktop users should stick with W7 (or moving to Mac as what I did ;-) )

haha..agreed....if windows 8 without the "front page" and add back the "start" icon....really don't see the different between windows 7 and 8!!

w8 用在tablet 都大食 (cpu ram),
touch screen 人地一早就有,
desktop 打死都唔上
都唔知出個w8 做什麼

我就覺得WIN8超難用

personally like previous windows more.
hard to use Win8, dont think that fits on laptop stuffs....
that is an OS on mobiles

除左一句  煩撚煩  都吾知可以用乜野形容詞去形容佢
