I got a problem with my desk top

it open very slow recently but I didn't see any problem when it was on and work normally.
but when I want to turn it off. The shut down icon has no respond when I click on it and therefore I had to hard shut down with the power switch button.

You.  haven't  told us what configuration your desktop has, nor the operating system you are using.
It's virtually impossible to give you any advice,  other than  telling you to buy a new one.

Try run programs like ccleaner to clean out the garbage files on your OS drive. If the drive you have your OS installed is mechanical (rotery or non SSD) drive, defrag it.

In addition, install disk health checking program to check for disk health. Your HDD might be about to die.

Also, install anti virus /malware program with updated definition and perform a full scan of the drives you have, and clean out any infections.

After trying all that and your computer is still slow, if you have budget and time, get a new computer and do data migration. If low in budget, see if you can install more RAMs and/or upgrade your OS drive to a SSD drive. Your computer should run faster for sure.
