CHings,
I am going to Saigon next month. Do I really need to take US dollar for exchange VND? or just need to bring HK dollar is fine.

Hope some expert can give me advise.

帶港幣即可.到當地銀樓換錢.省去匯差

US dollars are accepted everywhere. Hong Kong dollars are accepted at the bank

Actually you can trade with HKD in some beer om or KTV. but not all. USD is much popular.
Just to be safe, keep a few millions VND. just walk into any goldsmith and they can change
