Why was the function of "advanced search" no longer provided?

Why was the function of "advanced search" no longer provided?  With the existing ordinary "search", thousands of search results from all areas come out and listed in a lot of pages.  They were useless as nobody would like to search among lots of unwanted search results.  Please consider providing "advance search" again so that we could get reasonable number of meaningful results by limiting the fields, themes, areas, authors etc.

A meaningful / helpful search should at least includes which area of the whole forum.
