將會在奧斯卡頒獎典禮期間播放的 Samsung 廣告名叫《Make It Yours》，由電影《Mudbound》的導演 Dee Rees 執導，並由攝影師 Rachel Morrison 負責拍攝。短短 60 秒的廣告由著名美國演員兼創作人 Issa Rae 出鏡，鼓勵公眾去嘗試新事物和進行創作。這個《Make It Yours》廣告是 Galaxy S9 和 S9+ 宣傳的活動的一部份，廣告內展示了部份手機的主打功能，務求要令收看奧斯卡直播的觀眾留下深刻印象。
