曾經同一間公司做過consultant,
該公司老細對同一份report成日都要改format,
今日field3排column4,過幾日要調返去column7抽field4上來。
玩到謝，卒之都系report出齊咁多field既csv
叫佢自己搵秘書調到佢滿意。

For BI business intelligent, it really depends on where the data hosed. If you are hosting data at Oracle, then the nature for would be Oracle's BI module. If your data is sale data, then you should ride on salesforce.com and using their cloud base BI.

As other Ching said, if your DB is home grow, it is very likely that you need to develop a small scale BI tool so your boss can do slide and dice himself with your tool. Many times people are just need to do reporting with BI rather than the true objective: identify untapped business opportunity based on analyzing available business data and customer records.
