Just went out tonight in Bangkok in Sukhumvit area. My friend asked me to go out at 9pm but change to 8pm. That was a wise decision lol as everything closed at 10pm in Soi 4 nana, Soi 7 and Soi11.
There are many people hanging on the street after 10 but not where you can go unless you want to try the taxi or tuk tuk driver that ask you, 'where you go? i take you go bar open' 
We walk to Nana are, the bars on the street are open but i can see mostly guys in there so no point going in there.
We end up going to soi 7 which is the most happening area nowadays, if you go there you can some familiar girl from Nana in the corner bar when you go into soi 7. That bar is call Random with about 10 girls from Nana Random back from half a year ago, so it's a relief to see them still alive and well and pretty. BUT the lady drink there is 280BAHT, we didnt pay for any girls, we have money but definitely not gonna pay for the inflation price lol. I know business is devastating everywhere but making the lady drink price up so much will only make the girls keep standing on the side lol.
Anyway it was not a bad night but everyone miss Nana, Cowboy and Patpong for sure instead of 10pm closing time everywhere. There is new rumor that Thai government will consider open the bar and club sooner than mid Jan reopening schedule. |
