调制解调器 = Modem 是也.

It is quite a difficult to remember term but quite correct:
Modem = Modulator and Demodulator = 调制器 and 解调器 = 调制解调器

When I was young, I worked in an technology company which was financed by China capital. At that time, I needed to communicated with the engineers in Mainland China, and knew lots of Chinese term in that days.

Many of the translated term are too academic, and difficult to use.
So later, many term has it alias name. Just like the modem, many people now just call it 貓 !

Single broad computer? A simplified form of computer which usually used in Embedded Systems now.

In the old days (when I was teenager), Single Broad Computer is the cheapest way to experience and play computer.
The display of the computer is usually a few 7-segment (曰 shape) LED display, all program was in machine code,.........

not easy wor! If the terms is too technically, no one know the answer, then not funny.

But there are not enough common term (like modem, ram) to setup a funny game.

Just blow water is fun enough!
