I think the "gold" pistol from the movie Face-off was a custom built 1911. Very nice pistol they are... :)

Sorry brother - that's not true. The heavier the pistol, the less recoil.

If you are shooting the same ammo (such as .45 ACP): the recoil/shock from a plastic Glock (the frame is plastic, slide is metal) is much worst than a 1911 (all metal built).

Simple math: heavier gun = less recoil :)

If you are shooting in 9 mm - a Glock 17 or 19 (which is in 9 mm) will have more recoil compare to a full size 1911 (because 1911 pistol is heavier).

in hongkong? is it legal to have real guns in hongkong? i used to shoot real glock once in thailand. it is too much difference from what i thought and since then i do not believe people can fire guns like in the movies.

It is not necessary to be a stupid HKP to have firearms in Hong Kong, any citizen without criminal recore could apply for an arms licence.....
