ONKYO,Kenwood,SANYO,Pioneer都有出過
其中"SANYO"(三洋)更有4合1的組合(多了已絕版多年的8聲軌盒帶/又名大卡式)

The Cas part remind me of my old Sony TC-177 SD, a great deck, almost as good as as the Nakamichi 10 ...

Cassette Deck我自己用過最高級的是TEAC V2RX(3磁頭)
但講經典就不得不講卡式座之皇TEAC Z-7000
TEAC Z-7000在80年代推出(還有Z-6000及Z-5000)
80年代中售價超過一萬五千元,
這價錢(80年代中計)足夠買－套聲音不錯的Hi-Fi組合了

I still have a Harmon Kardon HK 1000 and another one from Akai .They cannot be operated because of degenerated rubber moving parts !

AKAI我用過GXC-725D(2手)和GX-F90(也是2手)

I had a few Akai decks, GXC 750, 760 and 570II..Akai decks are not bad...Had quite a few other decks when I was in hi school and before College.....just stopped messing with them during college.  I even had a big cassette deck...was Sony EL 7, 3 head,  3 motor, dual capstan..sounds like open wheel, not as good, but almost.  Interestingly, never had any Teac decks before.  I was dreaming of getting the Nakamichi 1000 II, and a bit later, the Zxl.. too much money (not $3,800 USD).  Bought the Awai 6900MKII instead, don't even think it was anywhere near the Nak.  I always like 3 head, at least two motor, and dual capstan decks.

I was a guest in a dinner party in which the president of Infinity (name forgotten, ?Arnold Nudell ),saying that the HK1000 was the nearest to the professional equipment on market.He then said a lot of tech that I could not understood.The sound was good but not in the realm of the open reels (Revox) Then it may be hindered by my system,a B&O Beogram into a Marantz 3600 pre,Phase Lineer 700B power,driving a pair of AR3as !

I really doubt it if it is very good, of course..I could be wrong hehe...,but a two head deck? The only sorta pro deck I had was the Sony TC 177 SD, it was often used in pro studios, even radio stations.  Very surprise you had a Marantz 3600..hehe, I thought nothing good from Marantz pre amp after the 3300, hehe.  AR3s are good bookshelf speakers, very nice Small speaker, a 12 in 3 way.  Is it a collectible by now?  I once had the 10pi and a 9..cuz we sold them...half price, new.  Bob Carver did a good job on the Phase Lineer, We actually carried it, when I sold hi fi after hi school..Didn't have a chance to own it, cuz I was still very much in love with the Marantz 500.

Marantz 3600 was quite a smooth and musical preamp ! Still made in US yet !And of course not the class of the
7 and 9 !The 3a is a classic now ! I had the 10 PI as well and later all sold to make room for the Infinity Q2.

I know 3600 very well, I carried the 3600 and 3800.  It sounds dull, unopen. Seems harmed by neg. feedback.(was the prime time of excessive NFB) It was supposed to be the successor of the 3300.  Honestly, it is was no 3300, hehe.  Personal opinion only, no offense.  We bought 100 of 3800 and 510M set, when they closed out, very cheap. (We sold both for $799 USD, still made money)  As a solid state pre amp, I would rank the 3300 pre amp (never own one ) along with the 7T.  Both great pre amps.  7T slightly noisier, but musical, like you said, hehe.  7T didn't match well with 500, but 7C was fine, my 2 cents.

Infinity never MCOT, but they made some good speakers, I must agree ( I like European speakers).  I like the Black Widow, one of the few bearing arms I liked, probably because it is a knife edge.
