It also depends on the strategies their navy employs and this is dependent on how thoroughly they have studied their opponents'. The US navy has had over so many years vigorous training and practical war experiences, it is totally at a level far above the Chinese. Unless the Chinese navy puts in a more intensive and vigorous training from now on then can they close the gap between themselves and the US.
