今天試了一下訊號線上黑盒子的阻抗調整，看看初步對聲音有沒有很大的影響。

前幾天在聽的時候都是用 Low，相信有看前面照片的人有注意到。今天也先以 Low 聽了幾首歌，之後我跳過 Mid 直接切到 High 的位置再聽，原因是切到Mid差異不大我怕會聽不出來，直接切到High，應該會有比較明顯的感受。

沒錯，切換後，聲音的確有些不同。在 High 的位置時，在聲音的形體上比較明顯，變得較緊實，整體的份量感較重，低音部分尤其明顯，節奏感強的音樂也會顯得較刺激一點。相比在 Low 時的聲音寬鬆很多，聲音形體相較沒那麼突出，在大音量或長時間聆聽時，這個檔位應當會舒適一點。在音色上我倒聽不出什麼大變化。

再調回 Low 時的感受就更明顯了，最後我才切為 Mid，也如同我預想的，聲音介於兩者之間。

Impedance is a product of conductance and resistance which varies depends on frequency.  It is a rather complex measurement usually could only be done in labs.  Hi Fi fans only depend on their ears but it is quite subjective, maybe inaccurate.  They might select such setting without knowing the reason why.  This is my suggestion,  low for tube gears and med/high or solid-state amps.  However, one reference is the damping factor.  High damping factor use high and low damping factor use low.  So, what is hi damping factor and what is low?...Some manufactures have it as part of the specs, and some don't.  Is impedance selection a gimmick for profit?...I wouldn't know.  Apparently, it is the selling point of these cables.  I like to explain more, but it gets technical which will sound like language from Mars..

Intellectual properties allow them to mark up N times?    Perfect example of capitalism .  It is very very expensive..
