我第一份工, 有個application 係dos + 唔知乜野database添呀,
係store d cable 既label

YES, that's why it use for main frame and IBM is rich.

Ah... the good old days

My firsts ..
First "mainframe"  ICL 2903  
First  Personal computer Sinclaire  ZX81 with a huge 1kiliobyte of RAM
WIN 3.11  very advanced  you should have tried MS WIN 1.0.  Believe me it really was crap. Much preferred DOS 3.0
It is interesting that at the same time IBM had OS/2  and Apple had the Mac plus... still MS WON

So what does your AS400 use? RPG or good old tried and tested Cobol ?

sorry, I don't know. I am not familiar on AS4oo.
My company is insurance. I believe that system is stored customer profile since boss is willing to put much money in that system.

To msLittle
whole code was supposed to br binary but I cheated. I only did the first part in binary,
16steps or so to onput thru switches, then load the rest written in asm and run. not quite remember what the rest was for, maybe error correction
