depend on your usage and budget, there are so many choice.
no best camera in the world, but the most suitable camera for your purpose

if a DC can suitable for your purpose, see see Canon S95.

A very good camera, but S100 already out, it is an old model. But the price had been dropped to around 2500, very good c/p

if DC is good for your purpose, S95 & XZ-1 are good choices

if you are serious on photography, buy a camera with bigger sensor, either:
1) Entry level DSLR: Canon 600D or Nikon D5100
2) Mirrorless camera: Sony 3C or 5N, Oly E-PL3, Pana GF3, Nikon J1 etc

dslr同mirrorless好似超出天后筆直
唯一接近系prosumer,既可以試下
近鏡，亦可以試下遠攝技巧，
富士有岩價錢，記得預埋sd card同脚架
價錢，呢两樣實要

出去旺角啲大相機舖格吓價啦，喺邊度買都冇所謂，行貨通常係總代理直接保養
