Actually I got problems with the Dr. sight stalled on the rear sight of my G17 and 18c
I can't rel ...

What is Dr. Sight? Have no idea what that is?

Got it... the red dot - you need to zero in - I use a laser bore sight to zero in.

You really don't need a red dot for the Glock (in usual setting) - I have a friend who shoot in OPEN division with his custom Glock from SJC gun with CMore redot - but he uses her for competition  (www.sjcguns.com)  - pretty slick settings ... but not sure if I would do it (price is close to my STI).

On the other hand, G18? How can you get a full-auto Glock? I don't think you have Class 3 license, do you?

I know - this looks like a laser than a gun - it is a Beretta 22 Neo. With the 5" barrel, basically it has zero recoil... I can just keep shooting her for hours (and a box of 550 rounds of .22 usually cost me less than USD $20). The Red dot is a cheaper one (I think is less than $50) - since the recoil is minimal, I don't have to worry much to get one of the bullet-proof CMoe Dot (cost over $350 each).

u misundertood my question, I am not asking abt zeroing ar...==
it's abt the red dot sight on Glocks; usually we got a "platform" or "bridge" for the red dot sight on IPSC guns; but the mini red dot sight for Glocks are attached in the place of the rear sight.  When the slide moves, the red dot sight will move tgt, so how can I aim?
Especially for my airsoft 18c, it's fully automatic, when I shoot, the slide keeps moving back and front, so as the mini red dot sight; I just can't aim properly........
therefore, I wanna know is this problem happening on your G17, the one with silver slide, red dot?

Brother – my Glock is a G21 (and G34), not G17 (all Glock looks the same anyway) – that’s why I was puzzle what you were talking about the G17? LOL

First of all – you can not use the red-dot on a fully auto pistol – as you stated: you can’t line up the site when the slide is moving. For your G18 (air-soft again) – you need to get a red dot that is mounted to the frame (instead of the slide), therefore you can do faster follow up shots.

During competition, we don’t just “spray-and-pray” – we do one shot at a time, so the red dot on the slide will work for us.

The G21 (which is in .45, not 9 mm) I have – I don’t use it for competition, but use it as my back up sidearm during hunting. With the red dot, this pistol will put me in OPEN class – and NO ONE shot .45 in OPEN division (because of less round count on the magazine). The nice things with the red dot on the slide are: no jamming with the ejecting case and I don’t need an open holster to carry it.

haha, yea I can only recognize the 34...21 and 17 looks the same to me..............==
BTW, not only the 18c (airsoft, again...=="), I got one G17 (airsoft) attached with the red dot sight; when I tried to shoot a bit faster; I can no longer use the red dot sight to aim............
well anyways, I use that Glock for displaying more than to play with...so that problem doesn't reli bother me....I juz wanna clear myself out whether that's the problem of me or the problem of such design

Look for a sight mount that stays on your frame, not the slide - that should fix your aiming problem.

yea...I got this for my Hi-Capa; juz wanna make the Glock more special, not to use C-more....
Indeed, if u look closer at my photo, I turn my 18c into a SMG; I add a front extention to it; another mount added seems clumsy..............
BTW, my 18c rocks, it can shoot 54 bbs in 2.94 second after I fine-tuned it=]  An extreme limit for airsoft handgun I think=]

You have an interesting set up on your G18.

If I attach any of your add-on to my G17/34/21 etc. – I will break the law in US and go to jail.

I am just wondering why we need a compensator for a BB? It is not like they have gas to release? LOL

Your forward grip and shoulder stock will help stabilize your pistol during engagement. I guess that you can have a laser red dot (sight not on the pistol, but project on the actual target) – which will eliminate the red dot on slide issue – plus faster follow up shots as well.

How much does this set up cost? Probably cost more than my car…

The structure of airsoft guns and real guns have big differences
we got the outer barrel and inner barrel for airsoft, coz we are shooting 6mm BBs, the diameter of the outer barrel is too wide to hold a BB.  As I mentioned, I put a 7 inch inner barrel for the 18c, that means the inner barrel is longer than the outer barrel; u don't want to see a tube like thing going out from ur gun, right?  That's why I put a front extension=]  Therefore, u r right; the front extension has no functional use; juz to hide the inner barrel.
I got a laser in the M6x; and I have set it zero in 10 meters; juz for me to play indoor wargame=]
haha, this toy gun probably will cost more than ur toy car, but not ur car Im sure=]=]
All the outlook stuff and internal upgrades cost me around USD$900-1000
