This is another point that I don't understand.
My understanding is: a filter always reduce light, no matter how little it is.

BTW, can you share before & after photos of this color intensifier filter?

I have the same doubt as you've mentioned. Most of the filter on the market block out unwanted light to slower the shutter speed. I was amazed by this filter was I first read about it on the website. This is why I bought it to try it out. On my second photo posted here (original was a CR2 raw format) I can even see the light column in the sky produced by the buildings but then again, I've tried the same filter with my kids on a sunny day and it looked awful. The filter distort the red chubby color of the kids face into a bright red scatted patches... Personally I think I've not figured out how to take pretty portrait photo with the filter yet...I am so sorry I don't have a before & after photo as the night was windy, cold & dark!!

It seems color intensifier is not suitable for portrait shoot.

That is what I believe: Any filtered added will modify the color/contrast/sharpness..., any modification will lead to un-nature look, that will easily make the photo look weird

Well, yes & no...I will study more about these filters. Currently in my collection Singh - Ray LB color intensifier, LB warming polarizing (which I find it good with portrait) and CLP which I think is stopped production.
