If it is a one man or small company, it is possible.  But how about a MMC, I can't see how they can operate without fix line.  They can't use the staffs mobile number as their contact point as they will lose the contract when the staff quit and join other company

而家好多人屋企都無固網電話,流動電話已經比左月費,分鐘多到用唔晒
加埋無限上網,可以用 data 打電話,連長 ...

最正系慳埋長途電話費

Which telecom century are you in?? Wrong, company supplied mobiles!! accounting firms for example  and any sales based companies where staff are not always in the office can definitely use mobiles only!?, in fact a lot of people also started to use google numbers, which can be forwarded to mobiles anyway and works as long as you have internet connection.

自從19世紀具爾發明電話後, 固網電話公司可以話壟斷左通訊行業超過一個世紀.
直到最近三十年, 流動電話的出 ...

我屋企原本留條固網愛黎收發fax~ 而家fax都用埋網絡~ 屋企電話都好耐冇響過.......... 而且而家又有網絡電話~

Then can you name some MMC that don't see land line.  So far, I don't see any MMC don't have any land line.  I agree there will be some staffs without a fix line.  But the companies will still maintain their land line instead.

他日手機有無限上網，固網就真係可以唔要。
