大減價都唔會諗, really need a good sub-woofer. If $$ not the issue, Elac makes a sub-woofer with two 7 inch driver and build-in amp. It will be a good system but very costly..A lot of options if over $50K.
Thank you Henry! I never notice the box is that deep. The depth helps to increase the internal volume which could extent it's lower range, clever. Amps with higher damping factor might keep the woofer movements under better control, looks a bit too much, hehe (was not dangerous thought). Hmm....also notice they used 5% tolerance resistors on the cross-over circuit board, on a pair of expensive mini speakers? Lastly, doesn't seem to have a separate chamber for the tweeter, would be nice to keep the tweeter isolated (not a must, but for 3 way speaker, better seal the mid-range).
My fav direct to Disc records, some of them are pipe organ, even 12 inch woofer sucks big time. I don't really have that much space, largest sub I used was 2 boxes of 2 x 12 in, shake the dam house, lol...
