Introduction :
Zhivopisny bridge over Moscow river
The bridge is unique in that most of its length runs along the river, not across it (see the site plan). Thus the bridge and highway it carries will bypass the protected territory of Serebryany Bor island. Total length of an S-shaped deck exceeds 1.5 kilometers, including a 420-meter long, 47-meter wide main section running 30 meters above and along the centerline of river Moskva. The main pylon is a 105-meter high arch across the river, carrying the weight of deck through 78 cables. Under the top of the arch, there is a disk-like structure that was intended to house a restaurant. The restaurant project is now abandoned due to fire safety concerns and lack of investment.
Kimry. Bridge over Volga river
On the right side of the river Volga in the neighborhood Savelovo the railway station, connecting the city with the capital and other cities (Kalyazin, Kashin, Uglich, Sonkovo, Rybinsk, etc.). The village. Separated from the southern forest belt Savelova (several kilometers). On the left side of the river Volga is located downtown, in which the government placed on one side blends in with their District. Surgut. Bridge over Ob river
The Surgut Bridge is a cable-stayed bridge across the Ob River at Surgut, Russia. It one of the longest in Siberia. The bridge is 2,070 meters (6,790 ft) long and has only one tower. Its central span of 408 meters (1,339 ft) make it the longest single-tower cable-stayed bridge in the world. The bridge was inaugurated in September 2000 and bridge carries road traffic. A steel truss rail bridge runs parallel to the Surgut Bridge.
Bolshoy Obukhovsky Bridge in Saint-Petersburg
The newest bridge across the Neva River in Saint Petersburg, the Big Obukhovsky Bridge (called also Vantovy - Cable-stayed - Bridge) is the only one bridge in the city, which does not draw its wings at night. Bolshoy Obukhovsky Bridge consists of 2 different parallel 4-lane bridges. The first part of the bridge was finished in 2004. The second part of the bridge was opened in 2007.
This cable-stayed bridge is one of the longest bridges in Russia and is the longest bridge in St.Petersburg. The length of the bridge passage is 2824 meters. The bridge is built in quite difficult for navigation part of Neva River, but with the pylons of 126 meters high, staying wide apart, and the middle span of 30 meters high, the bridge is almost unnoticeable for vessels. The Bolshoy Obukhovsky Bridge is a part of Saint Petersburg Ring Road and the only one way at night during the navigation period to get from one bank of Neva River to another, even that it will take time, due to the location of the bridge. The bridge connects Oktyabrskaya Embankment on the right bank of Neva and Obukhovsky Oborony prospect on the other side.
