any viewpoint is bound to have an opposing one
who is right? who knows, everyone loves to think he is right
a case in point
the pan-democrats' view that without universal suffrage, hk is doomed
I just don't see it that way, to me, rule of law is everything
without that, we are really doomed
(what worries me most is that beijing thinks they are the law)
opposing views are sometimes accompanied by verbal abuses
it requires a lot of will power or bravery to stand by or defend your views
how bothered you are by your opponents is largely determined by your attitude towards them
remember the cliche: if you cannot stand the heat, get out of the kitchen
also, remember that to every action there will always be a reaction
that's Newton's first law, and it is applicable to the physical world as well as to the human world |
