That's  most IT consultants say about the trend, but ask yourself, what  leads to the current data "explosion" ?  
Advance in  information technology, right ?
And so  every corporate managers ask for analysis report before making decision.
And so we IT guys provide as much data as possible.
Now they say they are overwhelmed with data and ask for simplied reports -- and then we beautify the  name and call those reports Intelligent analysis or whatever ?

Think once more do these guys havr alternative ? Yes they do -- throw the reports into the trash !

Data explosion comes from cheaper n cheaper storage and the common use of tablets and mobiles to capture information.

But these days searching for information on google is getting harder although information was getting more massive. Wondering

100% agree.
I believe it's more the former than the latter.

Recently I googled "Arias La  Luna" , and the answer I needed never came up until I refined tge search phrase. Crazy!

其實，香港同大6有大把機會，只係睇你有冇運。世界每日係到變，根本冇所謂的50年不變，就算831通過，亦一定會隨著時間而不斷改變，冇所謂嘅定咗方案就冇得改，因為我哋嘅社會、文化、生活習慣不斷咁變。
同理，IT行業，除咗高科技創新，仲有生活習慣嘅創新，google、百度等等，只會慢慢變成舊時代嘅「產品」，它們改變咗我哋嘅生活方式，而5代表永恆不變。
年輕人多d感受下、留意下生活，你會發覺身邊有好多機會。舉兩個例子，只係我心目中嘅概念，如果覺得我廢話，5好插我。
例一：以4台為例，可5可以做個Apps出嚟，等C兄們知道邊位囡囡冇反牌，又可Apps預約，方便C兄之餘，又幫到d紅牌囡囡做management，又可増加4台收益，兼且領先業界。
例二：大快活、美心、麥記等等快餐業務，又可5可以提供apps訂餐? 先用apps訂餐，去到餐廳用NFC技術去confirm order，再用八達通結賬，全自助，幫d上班一族慳番5少時間，又可幫企業提高效率。如果開發商每張單收一蚊service fee，開發商發啦！
以上兩個概念，只係我嘅棄卒，5代表冇得做。當然，成5成功，睇你有冇運啦！

正確來講，只是政治人物用IT作為政治宣傳工具而已，
