有幾多人後悔入左工程界和建築界？

i was in the field as building services supplier n category c building contractor. i managed to leave by 1998. so i was able to take part in those golden days when airport project was in full force.

呢行喺 2000 年左右開始 . 低下層人工就一直縮 . 就以扎鐵入行由 800 低至 500 樓下 . 現今唔係大師級人馬嘅話 . 識人唔多就一定幾難企得住腳 . 除非自己好有料 . 做呢行除非高級專業人仕外 . 一般工人級隨時唔知邊日唔使開工 . 以呢行揾埋下半世唔係咁衡陣 有好多人由月薪 20000 左右 . 變成而家每個月賺 8000 . 呢類人目前多咗唔少

it's indeed a huge contrast, in the 90's daily pay of扎鐵 worker was 1200~1500, with OT pay, their daily income could go up to 3500-4000, u can imagine how good they were, but now...everything changes
n worst of all, with new technology n certain procedure of work being transferred to prc, less local workers are needed now

耐到我自己都唔記得點樣計算
而家我都唔敢諗番呢行
D 錢唔容易賺 . 要講識唔識埋堆
一味死做爛做都無人會留 .

relationship always on top of everything la
building industry too old n too traditional
n too many untold rules to follow
main con has always to allow security fee for a site
still too complicated for normal ppl to get in

The rule is normal practice...
Do the same for the whole construction practice as before....
