利用 Home plug 串通家裏所有電腦

Home plug 可以串通家裏所有電腦一齊開心上網

上次介紹咗 wi-fi extender 俾各師兄參考，有師兄提醒話家裏不宜有太多電磁波及幅射器材，也不能長期開着以免影響家人健康。亦有師兄話最好係須要上網時才開，這樣就可避免了大部份的電磁波浮游在我們的空間裹。為了達到這個目的，今期再介紹一個名叫 Home plug 的東西給大家解決家居上網的問題。
在香港一般家庭都會有兩部或以上電腦擺放在不同位置，一部放在 A 房間，另一可能在 B 房間，但是 modem 和 router(有線) 卻安裝在客廳一個固定的位置上。那麼怎樣連接這兩部電腦到互聯網上呢？用 lan 線連接所有電腦？No way ！結果咪週圍都係明線，有礙空間！但暗線只能在裝修期間將 lan 線預先暗藏在牆內，一般用家都忽略了這一點。在這情況下善用Home plug 就是一個最好的解決辦法。因為它不用拉線都能達到效果。
Home plug 顧名思義它就是一個三腳插(3-square pin plug)，只要將這個插插入蘇底(即家裏的插蘇座)。又將 Home plug 上的 lan 插座，插上一條很短嘅 lan 線連接到 router 去。這時 home plug 開始工作將網絡的訊號經家裏的 power line 傳送到每一個插座上去。即是說現在你拿着另一個 home plug 插入家裏任何插蘇座，另一邊經條 lan 線接到電腦的 lan 座上便可成功上網喇。如此也解決了師兄提及嘅電磁波和幅射影響健康嘅問題。如果有師兄唔介意有些少電磁波或輕微幅射問題嘅(這個係未有証實會影響人體健康，不過師兄提出來討論一吓咋)。可以選擇購買一個無線嘅 home plug，那麼你的組合就更有彈性！多咗 wi-fi 連 手機，ipad 等器材都用得着了。
小弟嘅建議係 A 組合 : 兩隻有線嘅 Home plugs - 只供兩部電腦。
                   B 組合 : 一隻有線 + 一隻無線 Home plug - 可供多部電腦使用。
要留意互聯網商只提供一條線給你，幾部機一齊使用，速度會慢下來。

Did you also buy one set of Home plug?
What's your comments?
What if I got 3 computers and hence need 3 home plugs?

Yes, I bought one set of two Home plugs because in the first place I was using a normal router.   
The performance of the Home plug was reliable and convenient to hook up.
You may not need 3 Home plugs !  I believe that 1 home plug + 1 wi-fi home plug will be good for you.
But on the other hand, if you are having a normal router (not wireless), then you may need 3 Home plugs.
I am assuming that you are using 3 computers at the same time.

這與無線上網完全沒分別，家裡基本上仍是有無線的電磁場覆蓋。只是換了工具罷了。

最安全的，始終是拉明線。
我現在家裡是有一條明線拉到鄰房去的。
習慣了，也沒有不順眼了。

嘩！抵玩，如果唔係入咗貨，我都會買一套回家試試。
不過少少唔同係我俾咗 380 一隻 ，講緊係 Aztech - Wi-Fi Extender。速度係300 Mbps。
不過效果真係唔錯。 師兄請說明好唔好用呀？例如速度，範圍，有冇死點(盲點)呀？安裝，setup 等有冇問題呀？

Home Plug 識 Set 真係好過 Wifi。
第一，保安能力強。
第二，連線質素穩定。
總之係自己屋企電表箱範圍就用得。

注意：三上電單位係唔支援 Home Plug。

Be careful.....

Home Plug can't work if any power in difference circut, like a house with 2 floor, each floor got the individual Power Circuts, in this case when you use one Home Plug on Ground floor to contact LAN, upper flloor will not connect any signal, cause the Home Plug only connect by using the same Wire.

Just share when I had been face before.....

師兄你係絕對正確，因為 homeplug 的運作，首先係利用家中 router 的連線(lan)傳送到 homeplug果度。
Homeplug 就好似萬能播蘇一樣，只要將它插入任何插蘇座，它就能把訊號，經家中電線傳送到有插座的地方。請留意home plug 是不會發射電波到空間的。所以用電線傳輸一定穩定過經空氣傳輸。
故此師兄話:"保安能力強" 和" 連線質素穩定。" 是有道理的。
注意：三相電單位係唔支援 Home Plug。 - 對於這個，我又學多一樣嘢！多謝師兄。

Thanks for your valuable information on using home plugs for two-storey unit connections.  To be honest, I'd  never encountered such a case.  It's worthwhile knowing this drawback.

to be honest, most of the hong kong flat should be within the same MCB box.

To make it clear to all c-hings, I have some explanation on this point:
We must know that for every flat you own, you should have a consumer's meter.  From this meter you are connected to a MCB ( Main circuit breaker) box.  Usually the supply goes round all your rooms and then back to the MCB.  According to the manufacturer's instructions, the home plug could go through this ring only,  not beyond,  i.e. within the vicinity of the MCB.  That's my understanding.

可惜我屋企係用三相電 ,
冇電路圖 , 唔知邊組插蘇用同一相電 .
